Refund & Return Policy

At Home Decor & Things Are Us, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, you may request a return or exchange within 15 days of receiving your item.

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at sales@homedecorandthingsrus.com within 15 days of receiving your order. No exceptions!

Damaged Items

  • If your item arrives damaged, you must send clear photos of the damage within 5 days of receiving the shipment.
  • No photo, no refund or exchange—no exceptions.
  • Photos are required to process any damage claim.

Return Process

  1. Email sales@homedecorandthingsrus.com with your order number and reason for return/exchange.
  2. Upon review, we will provide a Return Authorization Number (RA#) along with our U.S. return address.
  3. The RA# must be included in your return shipment.
  4. Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email of the approval or rejection of your return/exchange.
  5. If approved, we will issue a refund or send a replacement, depending on your preference.
  6. If the return is not approved (e.g., item is not in its original condition), we will return the item to you.

Return Guidelines

  • Items must be in original condition and original packaging with no defects.
  • Returns must be initiated within 15 days of receipt.
  • Damaged items must be reported within 5 days.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.
  • A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
  • Final sale items cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded.

Packaging Your Return

  • Please package your return securely.
  • Items damaged due to poor packaging will not be accepted.
  • Slight color variations due to monitor differences are not eligible for return.
  • Items made from materials known to shrink or change after washing (such as cotton) are not eligible for return.

Damage & Shortage Claims

  • Claims for damages or shortages must be made within 5 days of delivery.
  • Claims must be submitted in writing with a photo of the damaged item.
  • Only one claim per order will be accepted. Additional claims will be denied.
  • There is no extra cost for replacements.
  • Wait until your entire order has arrived before submitting a claim.

Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return or exchange, including:

  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants)
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Personal care items (beauty products, skincare)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
  • Sale items and gift cards

Defective Products & Missing Parts

Our products go through two levels of Quality Assurance—once at the factory and again at our warehouse before shipping.

  • Inspect your package upon arrival before discarding any packaging.
  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items may be returned at your expense.
  • Contact us as soon as possible, and we will provide a return label in PDF format.
  • Once received, we will inspect the item for damage or missing parts.
